The Ignite Stream Energy Scam

Stream Energy Watch… Is Ignite Energy A Scam? YES!!! you need to read all about this so you don’t get sucked into the scam yourself! Ignite Energy Scam reviews:

“It’s a ground floor opportunity!” That is what the fat-ass-hats who are making bank with Ignite Stream energy will say. They will convince you that Stream electric and natural gas in Georgia, Texas, Ohio is the way to go. They will tell you that you are becoming a part of “The Energy Gold Rush.” But is that true? Isn’t this just another multi-level marketing scam like all the others? YES, it is, but probably not in the same way you think that it is. Read on and learn more about the Ignite Stream Energy Scam!

So you are looking to join Ignite Stream Energy as a consultant? Are you wondering if your $400 investment (or whatever they charge now) is going to be worth it?

The honest truth is that you’d be better off sticking that money in the freaking stock market and just pray! But let’s look at what the Ignite Energy or Stream Energy scam artists are going to make you think and believe

-natural gas and electricity are the perfect products because they are habitually used
-this is a ground floor opportunity
-natural gas and electricity are the new gold rush
-everyone uses electricity and natural gas so everyone needs what you are offering

I’m right on with that one aren’t I? But what you want to know is “just why is Ignite Energy Scam?” Ok, I will stop the babbling and get right to it…
The reason that Ignite Energy Scams people is because they urge you to prey on your friends, family and other relationships as a way to grow your multi level marketing energy business. Don’t you know that that is the biggest drawback to ANY multi level, network marketing thing? It’s the fact that they SCAM you into USING your friends as a way to make more money! They are all like that, but Ignite is a bigger scam because you are pushing people to sign up for electric or gas service that is in their own house. It’s not like a stupid health pill or shake. This is something that you are using in your own home everyday and “I am your best friend so do me this favor or else I will not be your friend anymore!” Oh yeah, they will tell you to say those exact words!

“If you don’t sign up for Ignite energy service then you and I will not be as close of friends anymore!”

The leaders (fat lazy bastards most of them) will tell you to push and push your friends and then start pushing your co-workers into signing up for Ignite energy scam.

That may have thrown you for a loop so read it again: The reason you will fail at Stream Energy is because you truly value your friendships and family. In other words, you are not willing to take advantage of family or friends in order to advance you so-called “Ambit Business.”

Using Guilt On Family And Friends To Advance Your Stream Energy Business

You see, once you sign over your money and become an Ignite Stream consultant, they will tell you to go get your first couple of customers. Those should be your close friends and family and if they should refuse to sign up as your elctric or gas customer, then you tell them “well, our relationship is gonna change then since you won’t trust me on this.”

Therein folks, is the Stream Energy Scam! The scam is in the Stream energy leaders ability to shame you into taking advantage of friendships to advance yourself in the business. Have you ever heard the term “never mix business with pleasure?” …yeah, that is a true statement. It’s a bad idea.

Convince A Stranger To Sign Up For the Stream Energy Dream: Fat Chance!

But there is still more to the Ignite electircity Scam… how about after you have sifted through all your friends and family and made them feel guilty or uncomfortable? Then what? Are you gonna go out and knock on doors in your neighborhood? I doubt it!

You see, after you have scorched all your friendships, the next thing is to talk with strangers, and that is a very very tough sell, especially when you really can’t offer them anything. In fact, you have to get them to fork over $400 too and try to live a pipe dream.

Another thing about the Stream Energy scam to be aware of is that this is NOT passive income! They will make it seem like you can spend all this time with your family (after you suck them dry) and all that, but this business require nothing but mule whipping ALL DAY LONG! You ave to constantly attend meeting after meeting (and in fact, if you don’t go to meetings the leaders will make you feel like you are lazy) and when you do finally scam someone into joining your Ignite team you will have to constantly push and push them to perform.

Sounds a lot like the corporate job you hate so much don’t it?

Folks, this is the trouble with ALL multi-level marketing schemes. They prey on your hope of something better. The problem is that less than 5% of people who ever sign up for some crappy, kick your own ass MLM thing every make their money back to break even. And you see, the rish assholes at the top count on the fact that there more and more suckers out there who will kick in the $400 and get a couple customers before becoming discouraged and quitting.

Only Already Established MLM Leaders Make Any Money With Stream Ignite Energy

That’s really all I have for you. Please feel free to leave me your comments because I know I can make any one of you be proven wrong. You Ignite Stream Energy guys are scammers and you know it! Go ahead and list the names of the people in your down line who have failed and the reasons why!

Ha! I just had a guy approach me in a gas station and tell me he was gonna change my life! Guess who he was representing?
    The Stream Energy Scam!!!!
I was nice to him, however, and asked him how he got involved. He told me his brother got him into it. (sounds familiar) I also asked him how much money he made and he and his brother had barely made their money back from the original investment.
He then proceeded to let me know that he had to resort to convincing strangers to sign up for Stream Energy because he and his brother had exhausted all their mutual family members (most did not want to join up).
I felt bad for this poor sucker. He ain’t gonna get strangers at gas stations to sign up for the scam! LOL
    Waddya say to that ChipB?
In fact, why not post a picture of one of your earnings checks big dog? you see folks, ChipB is lying and scamming too. ChipB is in the “fake it til ya make it” mode right now.
Chippy… post a picture somewhere so we can see how much stream scam money you have made…if any.

I just have to say that whoever wrote this is retarded. I was part of ignite for a while. I was sponsored by my pastor actually. No one ever pushed me to be rude to my friends or family. Yes, you do talk to them about it, but that’s how marketing works! It’s a people business. I made my initial investment back within a matter of days. Also, they DO have a great service that most everyone uses and they offer a very competative price. What’s wrong with that? Be glad you don’t have to pedal some stupid drink or whatever. This is something people are already using every month. It is also a ground floor opportunity considering they will soon be expanding to the rest of the deregulated states from the 3 or 4 they are in now. It does take some hard work, but is there anything worthwhile that doesn’t?
Ps- I stopped building ignite for now because I have other passions I want to focus on at the moment, but I may consider taking it up again in the future.

  3. Nick Brown says:

    Good afternoon,

I was very curious to hear opinions on the Ignite or “energy deal”…MLM business. I have had the same people approach me.

This is where they will have an advantage. I am a Director of Sales for a fairly large organization, and my networks are very large.

Do you think even with a very large network that this is a scam? I am only curious as to opinions, and everyone has them. I just did not see where the scam takes place? I see the failure rate is high, I see that it is in fact a social piece because one is forced to talk to everyone they come into contact with about the MLM. I see that as well. But what I dont see is a scheme or anything sideways here? Is there something other than the fact it is an MLM that is a scheme, illegal, or is there a fundamental crack in the business model?

From the research and numbers I received, the actual Stream Energy makes money on the sales of Energy, not the marketing piece, or ignite energy, in which is the marketing arm of Stream Energy I believe? Correct? I also found out that the marketing arm makes absolutely no profit, in which is completely opposite from a fundamental MLM, fundamental MLM is a pure profit within the networking piece. Ignite pays all the profit back into the associates and customers that use the service, hence the MLM is not even making money, its only marketing Stream energy services.

I manage a sales team of 16 and I am curious what your credentials are, again out of pure curiosity? I have to manage and push my sales team on a daily basis as anyone in a marketing position would do. Once the warm leads are gone, we must go out and get leads, cold call, set meetings, all the things you point out…and the people that dont do this in my team are just that, lazy and fired generally speaking.

So again, I guess I am just trying to see where the “scam” is…I don’t think you articulated where the physical or monetary scam or scheme is within Ignite? The reason I challenge you is this… I had a very high level HD Executive that is in this “business” or MLM, whatever you want to use as an adjective, and I am wondering why someone like this would fall for something if it was a scheme or scam. All the people on his team are very high level executives as well. The person that sponsored him is a millionaire already, and now the #3 earner in Ignite. I have pondered the business or MLM and have not accepted or signed up yet. I was doing research and found this article. Any thoughts? Can you describe or point out the scheme or scam? Other than alienation of family? I mean honestly, you can alienate anyone when talking about business. There is something called business etiquette and many do not have it. Maybe your sponsor had none? Not sure.

    Thoughts? Scheme? Don’t see one?

  4. Nick Brown says:

HAHA! Your age shows in your response, let me guess your around 26 or younger?

First of all the word retarded is for people in high-school, and your lack of verbiage and adjectives makes the public school system look as stupid as you are.

Secondly, I only asked a question if you read the entire three paragraphs, that is where is the scam, where is the scheme, and how is it a scam or scheme; all based on the initial comments that Ignite is a SCAM.

Retarded? Marketing? Product? Service? What? Did you Google a bunch of buzz words. Yes. This is why you are broke and I am rich. You will never be successful in any business, much less Ignite or any MLM, networking, networking marketing, product sales or service. Hang yourself, save the world your stupidity and lack of vocabulary. Don’t show up to any Ignite meetings, or wait a minute, actually please do…that way we can take all the money from all the idiots like you! ha-ha.

  5. WSmiddy says:

Hey Nick. While you’re busting her butt about spelling, how do you spell “Rich”? Is it R-I-S-H?

Don’t bash people’s business just because you are unable to do what hundreds, if not thousands of others already have….

    btw. NO! ~ I’m not in ignite…

  6. entrepreneur says:

scammed guy – i have read most of your comments and come to irreversible conclusions that you………….are an IDIOT and sadly, probably, reproducing too!!

  7. joe says:

they are not in Ohio, at least not selling in Ohio, does
anyone know when they will start selling in Ohio.

  8. Envious says:

Wow! Residual incomes of $1000. per month! Let’s see, at a nickel per customer that’s 20,000 customers… Twenty Thousand people that you or your downline have convinced to sign up with Stream. That’s amazing!

  9. ItZY says:

JOE I DONT HAVE THAT ANSWER YET, RIGHT NOW WE ARE IN TX THAT IS E;ECTRICITY & GEORGIA THAT IS GAS

BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT IN FEBRUARY THEY WILL ANNOUNCE THE 3RD STATE OPENING =)

… EVERYONE IS SO CHILDISH, IMMATURE, SILLY, WHO WILL STAY WITH A FAILURE MIND..

  10. Kamala says:

I was quite interested in your analysis of Ignite. Yes they are in two or three states. I do know of someone making about 40+ K a month in Bonuses and residuals. I looked at this business a few times.

I thought it would be very difficult to build. So I did not join. I was with a company for about 6 years. But I gave it up and joined a new company that operates in all 50 states and going international. I was attracted to it because of the zero overhead, the products and services and also the good compensation plan.

By the way we have phones and energy too

The few thousands I made have made me think I have found something good. I am not ‘rich’ yet!

  11. Kamala says:

    Hi Nick.

You do have a point when you say that just because people do not make any money does not make the business a scam.

People do not make money if they do not work and if they do not know how to build the business

  12. Leon says:

    MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION!
I recently went to one of these meetings and first off they make it known that we are on short time.We didnt recieve any papers no documents Hell they didnt even tell me how i would make a payment and then the owners says ” you dont need to worry about how much stream energy charges a kwh”. Im like huh!?!? I dont need to no how much they charge but im supposed 2 be selling eletricty lol SCAM At the end of the meeting we got to ask no questions no nothing he said their was alot of ppl so we couldnt get to any questions. Ive read and done my research the owner of ignite was the owner of excell the same type of MLM marketing the company went under he closed all the little guys accounts and started ignite. The contract clearly states that they can close our accounts at any time.

  13. Kamala says:

That is sad Leon. You should know all details of the details about the rate, if you are supposed to sell it. May be the people you were talking to did not know the details themselves.

In my company (in Houston and other states), after any presentation, we stay behind to address ALL questions. We have energy in 6 states for residences. We have commercial energy too. We can tell you what your rate will be for that day. Not only that. We just launched Energy in California. We are the first there. But we are nationwide and going to be international soon.

It a great feeling to know that you can be with a company that reveals all details. It is difficult to work with people who are not sure of what they profess. Good luck on your search.

  14. David says:

You are stupid. I worked at Ignite for 12 months. I’m still making around $400 a month in residual income and I haven’t worked at the Ignite opportunity for 18 months. If you don’t call that passive income then again I say you are STUPID!

  15. Scammed Guy says:

David, if you made that kind of money with little effort working the Ignite scam, why ever did you stop? Riddle us that one tough guy.

  16. Leon says:

I didnt say i worked for ignite get that straight Kamala and no they did not release all the details in Dallas maybe they did in houston but in Dallas they didnt. If your makin 400 a mo david then why are u you on here calling ppl stupid you should set an example for the ignite reps but instead u make a bad repsentation of yourself and your fraudulent company. Little do you know your residual that i doubt your getting is not garentee didnt u read your contract stupid?

  17. Kamala says:

Hi Leon, I do not do Ignite Business. I do another home business. I was talking about MY COMPANY that takes the time to answer all the questions. We are also working in all 50 states and going international.

sorry I do not have my ‘real web site’! What you see is my hand at creating something funny. It does lead you to the real web site links, though.

  18. Igniter says:

Scammed Guy you have done a great job for us sane people making money. You are probably habitually unemployed and miserable. When you have never been successful at anything it pains you to see others succeed. I wonder, is it you who’s familoy turned their back on? Your family didn’t support you becuase you’re an idiot and you want others to be idiots and work the Plan of Ignite.

  19. Scammed Guy says:

You are pretty funny Igniter guy. The fact that you call me an idiot proves where your heart it. you only care to stomp over people instead of help them. Thanks for proving how you guys operate, it will be in print here for years to come!
How many of your family or fellow church members have you bullied into the Ignite scam? What will happen to the ones who turn you down, will you look at them funny at the next dinner on the grounds?
yeah, I know all about you scammer!

  20. Kamala says:

Hi everybody, why not we ‘call a spade a spade?’

Let’s not point our fingers at each other. It does not help anyone.

There will always be those who fail and those who succeed in Business. Sometimes it is their fault, sometimes it is the fault of those who recruit them and, at other times, it is the fault of the company.

I will comment on the first two only. Many fail because they do not get adequate training and systems to follow. At times they have other challenges in life those challenges distract them from building the business. There is hope for these people. They can still succeed, IF THEY WANT TO!
Very often, the people who recruit others do not know how to train the new recruits. So the new people fail miserably. They lose money and not make money. This is sad.

    THE SOLUTION:

    Find the right company

Find the type of people who care about your success

Follow the leaders and their training faithfully.

    YOU WILL WIN!

  21. Jim Walter says:

I find it interesting people will soon be joining health clubs and gyms to make good on that all time favorite New Years resolution. Very few will will ever lose weight or gain a better lifestyle but will continue to pay those health club dues for another year. Why arent these health clubs and gyms a scam? They take peoples money and give nothing in return for the most part. It all leads to my point that its upo to the individual to make it work for them. Most brick and mortar businesses fail as well but no one ever brings that up either. MLM is no different than any other business. It takes hard work, new skill sets and sacrifice. Most people are not up to that challenge as you apparently were not as well. I wish you the best of luck with your job whatever that may be. In the meantime I might be able to save you some money on your gas or electric bill. If I could do that would you be interested in being my customer?

  22. Scammed Guy says:

hey dumbass Jim, health clubs don’t force you to push your friends and family to join as a way to make monetary gain for yourself. You scammers are all alike, trying to find analogies that fit. Truth is, you guys will go to New Year’s parties, and everyone at the party is a dollar sign to you… another prospect who you will badger to sign up for your Ignite Stream Energy Scam!!

  23. Kamala says:

Let’s face it! ALL Businesses exist to make money. If they do not make money, they will fail. The same concept applies to ‘Word of mouth advertising’. Some people do not understand the concept of helping people. when they focus on their own needs, they are a nuisance to society. But if they focus on helping others, they will be building the business right.

‘Ignite’ company depends on this system of building the business. Many make mistakes in the SYSTEM they follow. I believe the company will have all the training in place.

I am happy that we have great Systems in place, to educate and help everybody who needs it.

  24. Tarra says:

So bottom line it for me. Is Ignite reputable. My friend and I have just been introduced to it. I had heard a similar presentation many years ago but it was too new and deregulation hadn’t started yet. I don’t have money or time waste so a little help please.

  25. S.B. Hart says:

I am a very satisfied customer of Stream Energy. It was, indeed, recommended to me by a friend; my friend was a representative of Ignite/Stream energy. My friend’s business relationship with Stream was explained to me at the same time the advantages of using Stream Energy was explained. I just hope that my friend is enjoying the same monetary returns from his recomendation as I am.
Further, I would like to say that I have never before seen comments from a more functionally illiterate group as those involved in this site.
I fear for the future of written communications.

  26. More than meets the eye says:

Anyone want to comment on the new “class Action suit” filed in GA this past Oct. against Stream/Ignite/Presidential and Executive Directors? It does not sound good. While I like the concept of MLM and the Ignite/Stream model Im afraid things like this will always haunt the business. I cannot afford to have my name ’smeared” in a lawsuit be it fact or fiction. Might be my loss.

  27. Chris says:

I have changed my mind. While I don’t feel Ignite/Stream is a scam, it certainly has problems and I have pulled out of Ignite.

I am not happy that the leaders did not reveal much of their background and for Swagerty to us God as a crutch to sell this business, I find that very wrong. As a Christian, I cannot continue with this program.

Although Stream is legit and the product they sell is legit, its the process that bothered me as time went on. There is no way I will make the money that the top leaders make since in reality, I work for them.

  28. Chris says:

Btw, I now write articles and although I am not rich or anything like that, I have made some money, more money than I did with Ignite and it costs me nothing but my time.

I write for AssociatedContent and recently was accepted to write for Examiner.com.
